RADIO AD OPPOSES W.F. SMOKE BAN
With the West Fargo City Commission slated to have the first
reading of a citywide smoking ban Monday, bar owners opposing
the ban have joined forces to fund a radio advertisement running
this week.
We just want people to hear that this issue will be coming up
so they can have the opportunity to voice their choice,” said
Deanna Dirks, who co-owns M&Js Brand Saloon, 817 Main Ave.
W., with her husband, Brian.
Dirks, who made arrangements for the ad, said the smoking ban
will have “a large, trickle-down effect if it is passed.
The Silver Dollar Bar and Choppers Grill, 221 Sheyenne St., is
also among the bars funding the ad.
