80% OF BULGARIAN CHILDREN ARE PASSIVE SMOKERS
About 80% of the Bulgarian children are passive smokers, the
chairwoman of the National Association for Prevention of
Pulmonary Diseases D-r Sofiya Angelova said on Thursday.
66% of the youngsters become passive smokers when attending the
discos and the Internet clubs.
A total of 83% of the teenagers have tried smoking.
The children, whose parents are smokers, suffer much more often
from asthma and bronchitis, D-r Angelova announced.
